Brenton Doyle: Rockies' Draft Pick Makes MLB Debut

From Division II to the Major Leagues

Brenton Doyle, a 23-year-old outfielder from Division II Shepherd University, has made his Major League Baseball debut with the Colorado Rockies. Doyle was drafted by the Rockies in the 11th round of the 2022 MLB Draft and has quickly risen through the minors.

Impressive Minor League Stats

In 2023, Doyle played for the High-A Spokane Indians and Double-A Hartford Yard Goats, where he combined to hit .319 with 22 home runs and 84 RBIs. His impressive performance earned him a promotion to the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes, where he continued to hit well, batting .303 with 8 home runs and 33 RBIs.

Doyle's success in the minors earned him a call-up to the Rockies, making his MLB debut on September 12, 2023. He started in center field and went 1-for-4 with a single.
