Early Life and Career

The Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt was born in London in 1966. He studied Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Oxford University and then worked as a management consultant before entering politics.

Political Career

Hunt was elected as the Conservative MP for South West Surrey in 2005. In 2010, he was appointed to David Cameron's Conservative-Lib Dem coalition government as Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media, and Sport.
