The Georgetown University Library System is a comprehensive network of nine libraries that serves the research, teaching, and learning needs of the Georgetown community. The system includes the main campus libraries, Lauinger Library and Blommer Science Library, as well as seven branch libraries located throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Vast Collection of Books, Articles, and Other Resources

The Georgetown University Library System houses a vast collection of books, articles, and other resources in a variety of formats. The collection includes over 5 million print volumes, 1.5 million ebooks, and 100,000 streaming videos.

Access to Worldwide Resources

In addition to its own collection, the Georgetown University Library System provides access to a wide range of resources from other libraries worldwide. This includes access to over 30 million articles from more than 30,000 journals, as well as access to over 100,000 ebooks.

The Georgetown University Library System is staffed by a team of expert librarians who are available to help students, faculty, and staff find the resources they need. The library offers a variety of services, including reference assistance, research consultations, and instruction in library research methods.
